Here are the answers to questions that I am frequently asked.
1.What tanning products do you use? I have not gone in the sun for decades without sunscreen so how do I always look so tan and healthy! L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion. This gives instant color and a sexy shimmer to your skin. I also like L’Oreal’s Streak Free Self-Tanning Lotion with SPF 15 Sunscreen!
2.How so you take care of your skin? I have been using a regimen from Somme Institute for years. I discovered these products on a go-see when I was Modeling and was chosen to participate in the clinical trials. It is a 5-step regimen including: cleaning, exfoliating, C serum, A and E mosturizer and suncreen. In addition I drink lots of water, eat clean, and sleep on my back. There you have all my secrets!
3.Where did you buy your outfit? I get a most of my workout clothes at the Nike store, Athleta and also Lululemon Athletica! By the way, if you buy anything at Lululemon you get a really cool bag with great quotes like DANCE, SING, FLOSS & TRAVEL - Breathe deeply & appreciate the moment - Living in the moment could be the meaning of life - Successful people replace the words “wish”, “should”, & “try” with “I WILL”. The colorful tank tops I often wear are from Old Navy and Victoria Secret.
4.What is in your morning shake? Organic OJ ½ cup1 teaspoon Bee Pollen (I use Y.S. Organic)1 scoop Green Vibrance (I serving scooper comes with it) One generous teaspoon flax seed (I grind them in a coffee bean grinder and keep them in a jar in the freezer) Small handful of Fruit (I buy frozen berries at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods) One scoop Protein Powder. I like Jay Robb and Vega One. I/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar raw – unfiltered. I use Bragg organic with the Mother. I blend all of these ingredients using the Magic Bullet. I know it sounds like a sex toy but it isn’t. It is the best blender ever! This makes one serving and contains all the nutrients you need to start your day!

Working out and fitness encompasses so many different elements such as cardio, strength training, flexibility, balance and posture. Each is important individually but also contributes to the whole chain of movement and function necessary to navigate through our daily lives.

Let’s talk about attitude and energy!
From inhale up and exhale down it is most effective to be fully present and invigorated. Check your stance. Ears over shoulders, shoulders over hips, with a slight bend in your knees. Inhale deeply and as you exhale pull in your belly button just slightly. Use your breath to add a flow and connect to each exercise. You exhale as you lift weights and as you curl up working abs, inhale as you control down. Proper alignment and breathing are essential in building a strong foundation.
